Allergy medication
The common types of anti-allergic medications are:
* Corticosteroids. These medicines will help you prevent and treat the inflammation associated with allergic conditions.
* Antihistamines. These medications block histamine.
* Decongestants. These medicines give relieve from nasal and sinus congestion.
* Leukotriene modifiers. These medications block the effects of leukotrienes (chemicals released by your immune system during an allergic reaction.)

Corticosteroids helps in prevention and treatment of the inflammations associated with allergies :
* Nasal sprays: Rhinocort, mometasone (Nasonex), fluticasone (Flonase)
* Eyedrops: fluorometholone (Fluor-Op, Eflone, others), dexamethasone (Dexair, Decadron, others).
* Skin creams: hydrocortisone (Allercort, Dermacort, others) triamcinolone (Aristocort, Flutex, others).
* Pills, liquids: prednisone (Cordrol, Deltasone, others)
Antihistamines
* Pills, liquids: diphenhydramine (Benadryl), Fexofenadine (Allegra) , cetirizine (Zyrtec).
* Nasal sprays: azelastine (Astelin).
* Eyedrops: levocabastine (Livostin), olopatadine (Patanol).
Decongestants
* Pills, liquids: pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, Actifed, others), Claritin-D/
* Nasal sprays: phenylephrine (Neo-Synephrine), oxymetazoline (Afrin).
* Eyedrops: tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride (Visine).

because of allergies inflame eyes. Doctor prescripe Antihistamines. Itry several : Zyrtec bring me relief.
(allegra failed to produce the desired results )
